Carlos "Bronco" Oliveira was introduced to Brazilian Jiu Jitsu by Daniel Gracie in 1997 at Barra Da Tijuca in Rio De Janeiro. His tutelage continued under Rodrigo Nogueira in Coconut Creek, Florida and later, Murilo Bustamante at Brazilian Top Team. Receiving his black belt in 2008 from Raphael Barboza (Soul Fighters Team), Carlos moved to Abu Dhabi the following year and spent 4 years teaching for Emirates Team BJJ and the UAE Naval College. 2012 was the year that Carlos realised a life time dream, moving his family to America and opening his own academy in Cranford, New Jersey. Now affiliated with his old friend Master Renzo Gracie, Carlos' school continues to go from strength to strength.
